Bruno's coloring is a rich dark
brown ( liver red tri ) with cool
markings to match.
One of the things that I find
most intriguing about his color is,
his disappearing tan eyebrows !
As a baby he had visable tan
eyebrow hairs that is typical in
the tri-colors. But his eyebrows
gradually disappeared as his new
adult coat came in ! Interesting.
He offers an old style phenotype
& an infusion of old bloodlines
into our breeding program.
Bruno is a laid-back Aussie. He
likes to hang close in case he
is offered a pat on his side or
a treat of some sort, but he is
not an "in - your - face " , let's
play ball type. He's a definite
all around farm dog. Will move
cows, but does not harass them
or the cats either.
I had originally planned to keep
only one male & one female
from this Quin x Shady cross,
but soon realized I liked each of
the red males for different reasons.
Bruno ( I thought ) was going to be
too laid back for me, but it turns
out that I'm good with that : )
Rusty, the lighter colored pup who is pictured here with Bruno, is a
more interactive dog, but both of
these boys have sensible minds.
See Bruno pictured below with his
black tri litter sister, Quintanna.
Quintanna is also a tri-color, but
never displayed tan eyebrows as
a pup or as an adult. Cool !
Their other littermates can be seen
